Best Beaches in Cali: Our Picks
Whether you live in Cali and only have to set your HOME SECURITY SYSTEM to enjoy a carefree day at the beach or you’re coming in for a long weekend and need some great beach recommendations there are tons of great beaches to be had here. These are a few of our favorites:
Julia Phieffer Beach: It’s hidden in one of the hairpin turns about halfway down the Pacific Coast Highway which is what makes it such a gem. There’s a 100-foot tall waterfall as well as about as much privacy as you’ll find in California.
Venice Beach: Any tourist will tell you to go here but there’s a good reason: everything happens in Venice. It’s a cheap way to enjoy the sights (people watching!) and there are tons of shopping and restaurant options, too. Get down here and check out the sights.
Big Sur: If you’re looking for spectacular beauty you’re not going to find anything more than you’ll find here. From the trees to the waves to the magical rocky coastline, Big Sur is classic California in its best form.
